TTX-TAG: GPS Data Logger and Transmitter (Remote Download)
The TTX-Tag is similar to the TS-Tag and TM-Tag in GPS functionality. The TTX-Tag hosts additional bluetooth Class 1 transceiver in autoconnect dutycycled mode.
Some of the target properties of the TTX-Tag are:
Includes low power microprocessor for controlling the GPS logging and bluetooth communications.
- Built-in Solar Charging and USB charging electronics to reduce weight of the tag
- 512KByte Memory. Each location takes about 20 bytes. Higher memory model available on demand
- Possibility to store 25,000 locations, e.g. 70 locations a day for a year
- Extremely accurate < 50m 80% of locations
- WARM TTFF 29Sec
- HOT TTFF 1 SEC
- Ultra light, custom designed solar power pack, with rechargeable batteries available (more useful for low sample rate long term study)
- Target design weight can be less than 20 grams including electronics, power and antenna and bluetooth
- Basic model size 30x40x10mm
- Remote data retrival range upto 100m+ using directional antenna.
- Bluetooth autoconnect to master. Very low energy requirement.
- Target species: Small Birds, Medium Birds, Large Birds, Small and Medium Sized Mammals

A charging/download USB cable is provided with each tag, along with a magnet to rest. User manual is sent by e-mail and is not included in the box.
